This photo was taken in the fall of 2024 on a Nikormat film camera, just a few hundred yards away from the site of Thoreau's cabin in the woods by Walden Pond. I thought it was amazing and strange that there was a man swimming laps across the pond in almost sub-freezing temperatures.
